Four Bedroom Beach House Close to Beach

Expansive four bedroom home with two full baths and a large outdoor shower. A kitchen / living room that opens into a screened in front porch with two hammocks. A large deck runs the width of the back of the house. Our house is located on a block with beach access, one block East of the ferry dock– convenient to the shops restaurants, and the beach. The house was built in 1908 and has been owned by my family since 1970. It is charming, very clean, and has all amenities; you don't need to bring a thing. Just come and enjoy your vacation. Upstairs; The master bedroom is larger than most NYC apartments; with a kind size bed, a dressing area with a large skylight, and a beautiful porch with two day beds, a flat screen tv , ceiling fans and large roll down windows facing north, south and west. Soft, super clean, quality bedding is on all beds. This is my favorite place in the house to take a nap, enjoy the breeze listen to the sound of the waves crashing on the beach. The second upstairs bedroom has two full beds, and the third upstairs bedroom has a set of twins. Both bedrooms have two exposures, soft, clean bedding, ceiling fans and flat screen televisions. There are lace curtains on all of the windows, including the upstairs bathroom, which offers a bath tub and a shower. Downstairs; The fourth bedroom is downstairs and has a set of twin beds, soft clean bedding, two exposures and a flat screen television. There is a second bathroom downstairs which offers another shower, and can be entered from inside or outside of the house. The kitchen/living/dining room is open and airy – and perfect for entertaining. The kitchen is stocked with anything and everything you could need, and in multiple sizes. There are enough utensils, cups & plates for 12 people. Everything you need is at your fingertips. There are multiple ceiling fans, and all of the lights are on dimmers. There is a flat screen television in the living room. The inside dining table seats eight people, and should you want to dine al fresco; head to the back deck! The back deck is large and private with a large Weber BBQ, dining table for six, chaise lounges, chairs with ottomans and stategically placed cocktail tables to hold your glass of rose' or lemonade. The crowning jewel of the deck is the beautiful outdoor shower; it is open air and very large. It has a built in bench, many shelves and plenty of room to store all of your bathing essentials. After a long day at the beach head to the screened-in front porch to bask in the late afternoon sun. There is another dining table that seats four, and two perfectly placed hammocks where you can recharge your batteries while enjoying the breeze, and the sound of the waves crashing on the shoreline. The house is equipped with a large sturdy wagon, several beach chairs & beach umbrellas, boogie boards and plenty of beach towels, There are also four bicycles, including a trike useful for shopping in town and carrying packages. Our house is the place where our family spends time together, and creates ever lasting Fire Island memories. We want you to enjoy it as much as we do!
