A pleasant walk down your own private board walk through the endemic dune fynbos garden. Then about 100 paces to the top of the Solar Beach public boardwalk. Else relax at home on a sun lounger or recline in a double hammock on the lawn right next to the sparkling salt-water pool. The space The house has a wonderful indoor / outdoor flow. Perfect for those endless summer days. The main double volume living space comprises a seating area, dining suite and chef's standard kitchen complete with a library of cookbooks and quality appliances. In cooler weather the space is heated by a wood burning stove. During the summer months, open the glass sliding / folding doors out onto the sheltered private braai / barbeque patio. The large pantry / scullery is tucked discreetly out of view. The laundry is separate. The snug TV lounge has its own wood burning fireplace, flat screen TV, DSTV and surround sound. Intentionally cocooning for cozy winter evenings. Cool and inviting in summer when the glass sliding / folding doors open up onto the gazebo, garden and pool, making one large relaxing entertaining area. There are 2 dedicated office areas with fibre internet access throughout the house. 3 Libra has solar panels, an inverter and battery to cater for Eskom power black outs. The house steps down the dune in several levels which ensures that each of the three large en-suite double bedrooms has privacy and its own outdoor seating area. The master suite is fabulous. Up floating stairs and encompassing the entire top floor of the house, you enter via a mezzanine library / study area. The bedroom is light and airy with a balcony overlooking the fynbos garden and Robberg vlei. It has a private dressing room and huge bathroom boasting quartz carpet floors, a separate toilet, double vanities, double showers and the piece de resistance, an outside shower. The endemic dune fynbos garden teems with birds. Relax, soak up the sun and enjoy expansive views of Robberg vlei and cliffs from the solar-heated, salt-water lap pool, lush lawn, comfortable gazebo or while lazing on the sun loungers on the Garapa deck. The house is serviced every weekday and has a linked alarm system. The Solar Beach area is covered by monitored security cameras. Guests have the use of at least one parking bay inside the enormous double garage and are welcome to help themselves to fresh herbs from the tiny herb garden. No 3 Libra is tucked behind the beach sand dunes and completely protected from this wind. Even if the beach is no longer fun, chances are good that the pool will be fabulous!
