In Carnota, between the Ría de Muros and Monte Pindo, where history and magic go hand in hand, lies Carnota beach, one of the 100 most beautiful in the world. Here, sea and mountain surround us with the longest sunset in Europe. We invite you to visit our rural house (19th century), renovated with a deep homely character. And accredited with the A Certificate of Energy Efficiency. Natural materials such as wood, stone and ironwork provide warmth, balance and personality. The space Our accommodation is a traditional Galician house from the early 19th century, listed by the Historical Heritage of Galicia. The building consists of two houses, each with 2 bedrooms with a private bathroom. In addition, each house has its own social room, dining room and kitchen. Between the two, an old barn has been rehabilitated as a "special" deluxe room or loft, which can be communicated or separated from each house, and can be rented independently because it also has its own entrance from the outside. The property is located in the heart of a quiet village, between a river and the neighboring forest. We have a nice sunny garden, with an old granary and garden shower. Each house has its own terrace open to this garden. Guest access Our accommodation offers room service included in the price. They have their own living room, dining room and fully equipped kitchen. The room with a private bathroom has two 90cm beds, convertible into a double bed if you wish. An extra bed can be installed (reservation for adults). It has its own outdoor terrace open to the garden with private furniture. This garden is the only space left for shared use by our guests. It is forbidden to make a fire in the fireplace for safety reasons and because it is an element cataloged by the Historical Heritage and the Xunta de Galicia. Other things to note Our accommodation has a Certificate of Maximum Energy Efficiency, level A. We take care to keep our carbon footprint to a minimum: biomass boiler, good insulation, traditional materials... The accommodation is very well located for excursions to both the Costa da Morte (to the north) and the Ría de Muros y Noya (to the south); as well as to visit Santiago de Compostela, 50 minutes away. Supermarkets, restaurants, and other basic and vacation entertainment services are available near the country house.
