In Carnota, between the Ria de Muros and Monte Pindo, where history and magic go hand in hand, lies the beach of Carnota, one of the 100 most beautiful in the world. Here, sea and mountain envelop us with the longest sunset in Europe. We invite you to get to know our cottage (s.XIX), rehabilitated with a deep home character. And accredited with Certificate A of Energy Efficiency. Natural materials like wood, stone, and forge provide warmth, balance, and personality. The space Our accommodation is a traditional Galician house of the early nineteenth century, listed by Historical Heritage of Galicia. The building consists of two houses, each with 2 bedrooms with private bathroom. Also, each house has its own social lounge, dining room and kitchen. Between both, an old bird has been rehabilitated as a "special" deluxe room or loft, which can be communicated or independent of each house, and can be rented independently as it also has its own entrance from the outside. The estate is located in the middle of a quiet village, between a river and the neighboring forest. We have a nice sunny garden, with an old horro and garden shower. Each house has its own terrace open to this garden. Guest access Our accommodation offers room service included in the price. They have their own living room, dining room, and fully-equipped kitchen. The room with a private bathroom has two 90 cm beds, convertible into a double bed if you wish. An extra bed can be set up (reservation for more). It has its own outdoor terrace open to the garden with private furniture. The garden is the only space that is shared by our guests. In the lareira and fireplace it is forbidden to light for security reasons and because it is an element listed by the Historic Heritage and the Xunta de Galicia. Other things to note Our accommodation has a Maximum Energy Efficiency Certificate, level A. We make sure that our carbon footprint is minimal: biomass boiler, good insulation, traditional materials... The accommodation is very well located for excursions both to the Costa da Morte (to the north) and to the Ría de Muros and Noya (to the south); as well as to visit Santiago de Compostela, 50 minutes away. Near the cottage there are supermarkets, restaurants and other basic services and holiday entertainment. There is a folder with this information available to the customer in the accommodation.
