Ship House

Our house is at the point at baja rincon, a year round break famous for long perfect waves on west n.west swells and southerly. New solar power system, a hot water heater, and wood burning stove for optimum heat, also added a back-up water tank and pump so that we have constant power and water. The house was constructed with surfing in mind. A concrete driveway, surfboard maintenance stand and outdoor shower and rinsing areas for serious ocean minded clients. STARLINK INTERNET NOW AVAILABLE The space The house is a one minute walk to the ocean beach. Quiet, tranquil and bathed in ocean air and sun, the revival of your energies awaits. Clean and well maintained. Those who surf or fish already know of the reputation for point break waves here that make very long rides and the fishing charters off local pangas or the San Quintin Bay Sportfishing is excellent. The house is rented out complete with the downstairs apartment and its two bedrooms. There are three sitting couches in the living room with room for seven. A small weber bbq and charcoals are in the garage, a built in tile table between the main house is used for the bbq. A large fire pit is available in front with bench and table slabs for sitting or lounge chairs located in the garage. A tile tanning deck is on the rooftop, lounge chairs, folding hammocks , self inflating mattresses or towels work well for this venue. Golf clubs and balls with a mat to hit off are available, please pick up your balls, at this time, there is no caddie available. Guest access The area is fenced in by a huge chain link hurricane fencing. There is a gated entrance open during the daytime. If the gate is closed at night there is a guard near the gate, blink your headlights and honk your horn, they will come very soon. There is hiking along the beach inside or outside the compound, the area is safe and popular. Parking in driveway or in front of house is safe and hassle free. Other things to note This spot location is 'Punta San Jacinto, 22915 Baja California , Mexico*'. Its also called shipwrecks or freighters, but, it is not the famed shipwrecks in Baja Sur California, East Cape. If you plug this* into your map app it will take you there, but, i'm not allowed to put the link in here. Please note there is a glitch in the location that keeps listing us in San Quintin, 25 miles to the south. (this problem is being addressed). The nearest town is Camalu about 6 miles south down the Highway 1. If you are heading south on Hwy. 1 at the 149 km mark (south of ensnada) two signs will be on your right. One sign , a large billboard, says Shipwrecks and shows a ship lying on the beach. Also at that turn is a sign that says E.J.M. San Jacinto. If you miss that turn there is a new Pemex gas station on your left about 400 yds past the turn. Go Back,... note, two km north of the turnoff , 147 km, is Rancho Ybarra, a fresh water spring and swimming pool. *Two 5 gallon tanks are provided per week. Maintenance is happy to deliver more propane, at the expense of the guest. Guests can also refill propane tanks at their own expense.*
