The bush cabin offer rustic accommodation in the heart of New England’s adventure wilderness. Nestled beside the hurrying headwaters of the Little Styx River, they’re an ideal base to fish, 4WD or walk the remote gorges/forests. Sleeping up to 8 guests. Hot showers, flushing toilets and wood heating provide for a comfortable and relaxing camping style stay. You need to bring all linen, cooking, cutlery and lighting and an axe. It plunges through remote canyons, shaded by towering snow gums. The cabins provide an excellent base from which to search the wilder gorges for the elusive trout. Either spin or fly-fishing is permitted down-stream of the cabins. Worm fishing is not permitted. It is strongly advised that guests seek permission to fish other rivers in the area. Some rivers will be signposted if fishing is not permitted. Guided fly-fishing trips can be organised at Moffat Falls, these are private streams that offer the best population of rainbow trout.
