The Oaks at Kenwick Lodge

The Oaks is a recently converted barn which can sleep 10 guests, we not allow events or large parties. It has an open plan living area lit by large arch windows and heated by underfloor heating - which makes it cosy and perfect for entertaining or hosting a family gathering. It has a large garden with views of the Welsh hills and spectacular sunsets. Surrounded by fields you can enjoy the wildlife. Events and parties are not permitted. Parking available for 4 cars. The space The Oaks is a stunning open plan barn conversation with an abundance of natural light flooding through the panoramic arch windows that look out onto the Welsh hills. Entertain in the open plan kitchen diner, watch the breath taking sun set or sit out on the patio and enjoy the fresh air. the Oaks allows you to enjoy the peace and tranquillity that comes with escaping to the middle of nowhere. There are four large bedrooms, two with en suite, a family sized room and a large family bathroom. One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor and is next to a wet room making it ideal for people with mobility challenges. We have two more adjoining barn conversations. We are perfectly situated with easy access to a local pub which is less than a mile walk down a quiet country lane, and Ellesemere which is a 10 minute drive. Close by is Llangollen, Shrewsbury, Chester, Iron Bridge and Ludlow, all beautiful market towns full of history, pubs and shops. There are great guided walks, ghost walks and museums on local history. Shropshire has many hidden gems, beautiful country pubs, canal walks, world renowned Shrewsbury Flower Festival and fantastic mountain biking. We are well situated to get to Chester Zoo, Iron Bridge or venturing into Wales. Guest access The Oaks is down a country lane and a mile from a village. Your only neighbours are the wildlife that comes with country living. There is a small pond nearby, stocked with roach, you are welcome to fish.
