Our place has 70s charm mixed with modern furnishings. This classic simple Kiwi bach is set back from the road in a tranquil setting with two bedrooms. The open plan living area opens onto a large deck. The back yard is a little bit of summer magic. At the bottom of the property is a small copse of native trees which attract birdlife including tui and kereru. There’s a flying fox - great fun for the kids. We also have books and games available for holiday relaxing. The family-friendly bach is situated in central Cooks Beach. Just 3-4 minutes walk to the beach. Shops only a short walk away include a dairy, fish and chips shop, bottle shop and a couple of restaurants (seasonal). Cooks beach is a slice of coromandel paradise. Nearby is tennis courts, a golf course and winery, and its only a short drive to the ferry which crosses to Whitianga where there are plenty of shops, eateries and supermarkets. Hot Water Beach, Hahei and Cathedral Cove, well known tourist favourites, are only ten minutes drive away. Sleeps 5. Maximum 2-3 adults.
