Bulls Horn Shepherds Hut -Dorset Woodland Retreats

Relax, unwind, connect with nature in a newly hand crafted shepherds hut in the heart of the wild Purbeck Jurassic coastline. This stunning privately owned hidden unspoilt piece of land is surrounded by untouched ancient woodland, flowing streams, wild meadows and is central to iconic Purbeck walking routes and hosts a private view of the Purbeck Steam Train passing by. Emerse yourself with peace and quiet with only the local wildlife as your Neighbours. Note, this is an adults only retreat The space The Hut is situated deep within the Purbeck Valley between Corfe Castle & Swanage and is central to local iconic walking routes. Approximately 2 acres of private grassy paddocks, flowing streams and woodland surround this beautiful little hidden gem. The area is also home to an abundance of local wildlife as well as few ponies, sheep and farm cats which may come and pay you visit from time to time. The Hut itself was hand crafted in 2018 by Lower Bridge Shepherds huts and is fully insulated throughout and has mains electric and mains hot/cold drinking water supply. It has a well equipped Kitchenette with a kettle, cafetiere, toaster, electric hobs, utensils and mini fridge. A newly fitted hand crafted double bed for the best night sleep with storage below. The lounge consists of two arm chairs with an electric wood burner. The bathroom facilities are private to this rental and are newly fitted and situated in a separate shepherd's hut 15 metres from the hut and includes a electric power shower, toilet, sink and heated towel rail. All bed linen and towels are also provided. Outside we have a firepit with the first basket of logs provided so just bring the marshmallows! A hammock under tree to get out of the mid-day sun. Outdoor seating is also provided along with a bistro style dinning table. We are huge dog lovers, well behaved dogs are welcome, please bring your pooches water bowl and bed/towels with you. But please be respectful of the local wildlife and farm animals.
