Our charming old cottage is full of character. It sleeps up to 6 and is perfect for a relaxing seaside getaway or as a base for exploring Cape Town. The bright, airy, open-plan living area and indigenous terraced garden have wonderful sea views. The space Spacious open-plan living/dining/kitchen area opening on to balcony with sea views on the one side and sheltered court-yard garden on the other side; two modest-sized double bedrooms; bathroom with bath, over-head shower and WC; separate WC; small utility area. A separate garden studio with two comfortable single beds and en suite WC/shower. Terraced gardens. Secure garage for one car. PLEASE ENQUIRE ABOUT REDUCED RATES FOR LONGER STAYS OR FEWER GUESTS. Guest access Guests have access to the entire property, although one small room that we use as a study will be locked. Other things to note Our cottage is very comfortable and characterful and perfect for travellers who are attracted to the trendy 'vibe' of Kalk Bay which is a very arty coastal village, crammed with coffee shops, eateries and art & craft galleries - all quite different to glitzier Atlantic side of Cape Town. We have an integrated security alarm and response. We do not have a television! We have a washing machine and dish-washer which you are welcome to use. The kitchen is small but has all the appliances you may need including a gas stove, electric oven and microwave.
