Snow Rose is an independent cottage located on the grounds of the larger Wild Rose Cottage. Nested in the fruit-growing belt of the Kumaon, it offers beautiful views of the Kumaon Himalaya from Trishul to Nanda Devi and of the Garhwal Himalaya from Badrinath to Kedarnath on clear days. It is ideally suited for setting out to explore the Kumaon. Day trips to Mukteshwar, Jageshwar, even Chowkhori and Berinag can be planned by car. Interesting forest walks with views of Himalayan bird-life abound. The space The space comprises a large bed-sitting room and bath room with a hall and a kitchenette. A small garden and verandah are attached for enjoying the outdoors. The windows in the bed room offer views of the cloud filled valley on all days and of the Himalyan Range on clear days. The kitchenette is supplied with necessities for preparing your own food. Rations are available from Ramgarh which is 2 kilometres away from the cottage. Guest access Guests can access the cottage and its garden. A caretaker is available on the property and will help with shopping and guidance. Other things to note The accommodation is suitable for honey-mooners, couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and all those who enjoy nature. Photographers and nature walkers will find plenty to interest them. Summer months rarely have mountain views due to haze- the views are best from October to March The caretaker keeps dogs, therefore it may not be suitable to bring pets.
