Hidden amongst the woods and just a few minutes from the medieval borgo of Montecatini Val di Cecina, Cinque Cipressi, an elegant house dating back 7 century and fruit of refined renovation, is a special refuge in which to immerse yourself in relaxing tranquillity and discover secrets of Tuscany off the beaten path-known. The space The house has two floors connected by an internal staircase. The main entrance leads into a small hallway (with stairs to the first floor) and then, on the right, into a large living room with dining table and seating area with sofas, ornamenal fireplace and satellite TV; on the left is the kitchen and a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower and, finally, the laundry room. The French windows of the kitchen and living room open out to the furnished portico. The first floor consists of a double bedroom with open-plan bathroom with shower and double basin, a twin and a double bedroom, both with ensuite bathroom with tub and shower. Please note: the bathrooms do not have bidets. Air conditioning only in the bedrooms. Guest access The house is surrounded by a completely-enclosed, lush, well-kept park on hilly ground, distributed over two terraces with the lower one occupied by the swimming pool area and reached down a flight of steps. Mainly lawn, the garden is an explosion of the colours of Mediterranean vegetation, blending in with the surrounding countryside, and is dotted with fruit trees, cypresses, olive trees and bushes of herbs. The vine-covered portico, outside the French windows of the living area, is furnished for outdoor dining. The 4-car parking area is located in a private space in front of the entrance gate to the property. The splendid, south-facing swimming pool lies on the lower terrace of the garden on an open, panoramic viewpoint. About 20 m from the house, it can be reached in just a few steps from the portico and then down a flight of steps. The rectangular pool, measuring 5 x 14 m with the depth varying from 1 to 2.50 m, is lined in PVC and has a ladder and submerged steps in one corner for access to the water. The stone-paved sunbathing area around the pool is equipped with sunbeds, a sofa with armchairs shaded by a gazebo and an umbrella. On one side is a cold-water shower and a stone structure with barbecue and wood oven. The pool has chlorine purification and can also be used at night thanks to both internal and external lighting.
