Typical nineteenth-century country house, with thick stone walls and wooden beams, renovated with modern comforts, it is ideal for a holiday in the magnificent Iblean countryside and is in a strategic position for visiting the baroque cities of the Val di Noto. The house can accommodate up to 7 people and, in the case of families or larger groups up to 9 people, is available the annex annexed to the main house, the "Romantic Studio Terrazza dell'Ulivo" (see announcement) with an additional cost. The space It consists of a large living room with built-in kitchen and 4 double bedrooms-2 on the wooden mezzanine-2 on the floor ground, for a total of 7 beds, 2 bathrooms, one with shower. The house is located in its original context: the courtyard of the small village houses the well with the cistern, dug into the rock, where rainwater was collected, and has a threshing floor behind it, made from a single limestone slab. where once threshing was done with mules. From the large terraces of the house, you can enjoy the view of the incredibly green fields in spring and very sunny in summer. The hot tub, located in the garden of aromatic herbs, allows, on hot August days, to cool off and relax, contemplating the view. The pool is seasonal and is usually open from June to September, as it is not heated. It is the realm of silence and stillness, of the scents of the countryside, where it is pleasant to spend evenings just looking at the sky full of stars. It has a dry and windy climate, pleasant even in hot summers. Guest access The main house, the terrace, the front garden and the Jacuzzi are at guests' disposal. Attached to the main house, although totally independent, is the "Romantic Studio-flat Terrace of the Olive Tree", (see separate announcement) which is available only in the case of groups or families up to 9 people, as it allows you to expand the number of beds in the main house (7 beds). With the latter the outdoor spaces (terrace, beam and Jacuzzi) are shared. In the studio there is a comfortable double sofa bed, kitchenette and bathroom with independent shower. Other things to note In case of check-in after 7 pm a supplement of € 30 is required and for check-in after 10 pm, a supplement of € 50. Easter is recommended because these come alive with religious festivals where folklore is combined with the devotion of the faithful. The sea, which is about 30 minutes away by car, offers the most beautiful free beaches in all of eastern Sicily and can be easily reached both on the southern side (Marina di Modica, Sampieri, Pozzallo) and to the east (Vendicari reserve, Marzamemi , Saint Lawrence).
