Both bedrooms lead out onto a second deck, with views even more sweeping than the deck below. The property as a whole is a serene getaway tucked in the lush flora of the Cape Peninsula. There is also a small cottage on the premises but otherwise the place is completely secluded and srrounded by sea, mountains and fynbos. An indigenous, natural garden and breathtaking views are at your doorstep. You can access short trails in Castle Rock Nature Conservancy. We have a natural pool fed by the mountain stream. Other things to note Cape Point Villa is perched on the side of an 800 meter high mountain with the sea directly below. It is a secluded spot, surrounded by nature. The guest house was the home of a most extraordinary woman by the name of Rosalind Shearing Bean. A multi-faceted woman she transformed the villa and the neighbouring cottage into the unique spaces that they are are today. The Getaway has just been refurbished and upgraded thanks to a generous contribution in her honour. Rosalind also turned an invasive alien wasteland around the dwellings into an exquisite fynbos garden. A trained nursing sister and alternative healer she imbued the spaces with a tangible sense of wellness and tranquillity. We run the guest house in her honour and her memory. It is regularly used as a mindfulness centre. Its location in a nature conservancy and on the shores of a marine reserve make it a biodiversity haven. If you want a venue for a party or expect TV, micro-wave, air-conditioning and other modern conveniences this is definitely not the place for you. If you want peace and tranquillity in a 100% green and sustainable place of unrivalled natural beauty then this place is just about one of a kind in Cape Town. You will have to navigate 39 steps from the parking space to your front door.
