Cozy studio apartment with garden and direct access to Kongeskogen – near the beach, museums and city center Welcome to our newly renovated and charming basement apartment on beautiful Bygdøy – one of Oslo's most attractive areas. The apartment has a separate bedroom with a large and comfortable double bed, as well as a living room with a double sofa bed – which makes it well suited for up to 4 people. The apartment has a separate entrance from the garden and is located right next to Kongeskogen, with direct access to trails and hiking terrain. The space Right outside the house you will find a grocery store and a bus stop with direct connection to Oslo city center – the trip takes only 15 minutes. In the street outside there is free street parking (first come, first served), which makes it easy for you who come by car. Within a 5–10 minute walk you can visit some of Norway's most famous museums on Bygdøy: the Folk Museum, the Viking Ship House, the Maritime Museum, the Fram Museum and the Kon-Tiki Museum. If you like boat trips, there is a ferry from the Fram Museum that takes you across the fjord to Aker Brygge in about 20 minutes. There is a lively area with shops, restaurants and cozy venues – perfect for experiencing the best of Oslo Guest access Guests have private entrance to the apartment via the garden. The apartment is completely separate from the main part of the house and consists of a bedroom, living room with sofa bed, kitchenette and bathroom – all for the exclusive use of guests. Guests also have access to the part of the garden that is right outside the entrance. This can be used to enjoy the morning coffee or relax after a day of hiking. Other parts of the house and garden are private and used by the host Other things to note Other information worth noting – The apartment is located in the basement of our house, but is completely separated with its own entrance and good sound insulation. – There are some steps down to the entrance from the garden, so the apartment is unfortunately not suitable for people with reduced mobility. – No smoking and no parties allowed. – There is free parking in the street right outside (first come first serve). - We greatly appreciate that our guests take good care of the apartment and let us know if something is not working properly.
