"Sunset" Cottage in Périgord

"Sunset" cottage in Périgord Small, very charming house, completely renovated. This is a 250-year-old stone house, consisting of a living room with equipped kitchen and a large sun terrace. The bedroom includes a double bed as well as 2 single beds. The small bathroom is equipped with a large shower, a small sink and a suspended toilet. An ideal house for a family, to relax in the countryside and enjoy the wonders of Périgord. The space The Maisonnette features a kitchen equipped with an induction cooktop, oven, fridge/freezer, filter coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle, and all the utensils needed for cooking. Basic condiments (oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, spices, sugar, tea, coffee...) are provided, as well as household products and dish towels (soap, dishwashing liquid, cleaning products, garbage bags...). Linens and towels are not provided (they can be rented on site for an additional fee). The bedroom includes a double bed and 2 single beds. A TV area with a sofa and coffee table. The house is located in the heart of a group of 3 houses on 5,600 m2 of enclosed land in the hamlet of La Gonterie-Boulouneix, which is 6 km from Brantôme in Périgord. The many castles and historical sites (Brantôme Abbeys, Villars Caves, Château de Bourdeilles, etc.) are just a few minutes from the village, and Périgueux is 30 minutes to the south. Ideally located in the Périgord Vert, the house offers you a multitude of possibilities to enjoy a vacation in the heart of the countryside, taking advantage of the magnificent landscapes, the renowned local cuisine, and the tranquility of a pretty, typical Dordogne village. Guest access The cottage is on a large property of 5,600 m² and shares the outdoor area and the swimming pool with the house of Barbara and Olivier (the owners). However, everything is done to ensure that you have your privacy, with no overlooking neighbors, your own terrace and your own private cottage. The parking area for cars is on the property, but vehicular access is from outside, just past the house on the left as you descend from the village. There is enough space to park 5 cars, and the whole area is enclosed by a wooden gate. The hamlet does not have access to public transportation, so it is essential to have a vehicle. Other things to note The maisonette has its own terrace that is not overlooked and overlooks the garden. The pool and barbecue are shared with the owners and are freely accessible. Please do not leave your personal belongings in this area. Please clean the BBQ after each use (grill, plate and ashes). Cleaning products are provided. Access to the washing machine is available upon request.
