"Sunset" cottage in Périgord Small, very charming house, completely renovated. This is a 250-year-old stone house, consisting of a living room with equipped kitchen and a large sun terrace. The bedroom includes a double bed as well as 2 single beds. The small bathroom is equipped with a large shower, a small sink and a suspended toilet. An ideal house for a family, to relax in the countryside and enjoy the wonders of Périgord. The space The maisonnette has an equipped kitchen with an induction stove, oven, fridge/freezer, filter coffee machine, toaster, electric kettle, and all the cooking utensils you need. Basic condiments (oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, spices, sugar, tea, coffee, etc.) are provided, as well as household products (soap, dishwashing liquid, cleaners, garbage bags, etc.). Linens are also provided (sheets, dish towels). The bedroom includes a double bed as well as 2 single beds. A TV area with sofa and coffee table. The House is located in the heart of a set of 3 houses on 5600m2 enclosed in the Hameau de La Gonterie - Boulouneix which is 6km from Brantôme in Périgord. The many castles and historic sites (Brantôme Abbey, Villars Caves, Château de Bourdeilles, etc.) are just a few minutes from the village, and Périgueux is 30 minutes away to the south. Ideally located in the Périgord Vert, the house offers you a wealth of opportunities to enjoy a vacation in the heart of the countryside, taking in the magnificent scenery, the renowned local cuisine, and the tranquility of a charming, traditional Dordogne village. Guest access The duplex is on a large 5,600 m² property and shares the outdoor area with Barbara and Olivier's house. However, everything is done to ensure that you have your peace and quiet, with no neighbors overlooking, your own terrace, and your independent duplex. The parking for cars is on the property, but access by car is from the outside, just after the house on the left when coming down from the village. There is space to park 5 cars, and the whole area is enclosed by a wooden gate. The hamlet does not have access to public transportation, so it is essential to have a vehicle. Other things to note The maisonette has its own unoverlooked terrace overlooking the garden. The pool and barbecue are shared between the different houses and are freely accessible. We ask that you not leave your belongings around this space. Please clean the BBQ after each use (grill, plate, and ashes).
