"Sunset" Cottage in Périgord

"Sunset" cottage in Périgord Small, very charming house, completely renovated. This is a 250-year-old stone house, consisting of a living room with equipped kitchen and a large sun terrace. The bedroom includes a double bed as well as 2 single beds. The small bathroom is equipped with a large shower, a small sink and a suspended toilet. An ideal house for a family, to relax in the countryside and enjoy the wonders of Périgord. The space The Maisonette consists of a kitchen equipped with an induction stove, oven, fridge/freezer, filter coffee machine, toaster, electric kettle and all cooking utensils. Basic condiments (oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, spices, sugar, tea, coffee...) are provided as well as household products (soap, dishwashing liquid, cleaners, garbage bags...) linens are also provided (sheets, towels, dish towels). Due to the coronavirus, if you prefer to bring your own linens, you can do so. We wash and disinfect everything after each rental. The bedroom includes a double bed as well as 2 single beds. The House is located in the heart of a set of 3 houses on a plot of 5600 m2 enclosed in the Hamlet of La Gonterie - Boulouneix which is 6 km from Brantôme en Périgord. The many castles and historical sites (Brantôme Abbeys, Villars Caves, Bourdeilles Castle etc...) are minutes from the village, and Périgueux is 30 minutes to the south. Ideally located in the Périgord Vert, the house offers a multitude of possibilities to spend a holiday in the countryside while enjoying the magnificent landscapes, the very famous local gastronomy as well as the calm of a pretty village typical of Dordogne. Guest access The house is in a large 5600 m2 property and shares the outdoor space with another house. However, everything is done so that you have your peace, not overlooked, your terrace and your independent house. Parking for cars is in the property but access by car is from the outside just after the house on the left when coming down from the village. There is enough to park 5 cars and shade so that the vehicles stay cool and everything is locked by a wooden gate. Other things to note COVID-19 The cottage is fully cleaned and disinfected after each rental. Sheets, towels and tea towels are washed at high temperature (90°) to remove any possible trace of virus. However, if you prefer to bring your own linens, please let us know so we can prepare the house accordingly.
