The house is situated to take advantage of the amazing views of Tomales Bay and maximize privacy giving you the sense that you are surrounded by nature. At the same time, you are minutes away from the charming town of Point Reyes with wonderful dining options, great local shopping, and galleries. The house is filled with modern amenities including radiant heat, a gas fireplace, dishwasher, microwave, nespresso machine, a fully stocked kitchen and more. The hot tub overlooks Tomales Bay and there is a ping pong table in the carport. We live about an hour away and are available by phone or email as needed. We have neighbors who keep an eye on the place for us and make sure that house rules are followed. Our neighbors have chosen to live here because of the peace and quiet so please respect them by keeping the noise to a minimum. NOT a party house. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Inverness Park is just down the hill with an amazing deli and market (Inverness Park Market), restaurant (The Tap Room), gallery and gift shop (Spirit Matters). Point Reyes Station is a 10 minute drive away with lots of great options. Don't miss, Bovine Bakery, Palace Market, The Station House, The Point Reyes Bookstore, Toby's Feed Barn, Cowgirl Creamery, Side Street Kitchen and Zuma. Inverness Ridge Trail is just a few minutes away. We want you to know that we’re doing our part to help our Airbnb guests stay safe by cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces (light switches, doorknobs, cabinet handles, remotes, etc.) before you check in and following the Airbnb cleaning checklist based on recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). We have included a 24 hr. buffer period before your rental where no one will be in the house. The house is in a quiet, residential neighborhood. While there is great privacy, voices carry in the secluded area. If you intend to have a party, you should seek another option. Our neighbors will call the local Sheriff's Office for noise violations. House Rules include the following: No more than 4 cars are allowed without prior approval from the owner No additional guests can come to visit unless approved by the owner No more than 10 guests You must observe quiet hours of 10 pm-8am Any guests outside after 10pm must use whisper voices No use of hot tub jets during quiet hours If we get complaints from our neighbors or hear that any of the house rules have been violated we will file a claim with Airbnb and all or part of your security deposit will be lost. Please also note that while pets are not allowed, the owners have pets and this house is not recommended for anyone with severe pet allergies.
