Denbrae Cottage West enjoys a peaceful position set in picturesque countryside under a Km from St Andrews and only 3km to the centre. This accommodation sits in private gardens and has extensive accommodation conveniently arranged on one level. It benefits from being newly renovated, free WIFI, country views, fully equipped kitchen with a dining area, living room with flat screen TV and log fire & 5 bedrooms (either twin or superking), 4.5 bathrooms (3 ensuite) & even has its own golf bunker. The space Locally there are many recreational activities available including water and beach sports while nearby St Andrews is renowned worldwide as the ‘Home of Golf’. The Old Course is a regular host to the Open Championship, most recently in 2015. There are now six further golf courses run by the St Andrews Links Trust, in addition to the many other golf courses in the area including the Duke’s Course and Kingsbarns. The town is also well known for its university which was Scotland’s first university and the third oldest in the English-speaking world, founded in 1413. For over six centuries it has established a reputation as one of Europe’s leading and most distinctive centres for teaching and research. The town provides good state schooling at Madras College and private schooling at St Leonards, and The High School of Dundee is also within easy reach. Access by rail, road and air is good. Leuchars railway station (5.5 miles) and Cupar (7.5 miles) are on the main Aberdeen to London line and provide a fast link to Dundee and Edinburgh. Edinburgh Airport, with its increasingly wide range of domestic and international flights, is only 46 miles away and Dundee Airport (14 miles) has regular services to London Stansted. Guest access The house is only rented as a whole so no areas are shared. Normally I like to meet guests to show them round and settle in but there is also a key box for access if needed. Other things to note All bedrooms can be made up as either twin (2 x single bed) or superking (extra large double). When booking please confirm your preference.
