Greenaway: a forest escape near Siolim

Sink into the green, read, write, walk, relax, breathe, sleep, dream... The serenity & calm of Greenaway is breathtaking. Set in 50+ verdant acres, only 15 min from Mapusa & half an hour to Morjim/Vagator beaches. A place to be tranquil & in silence, to be with friends & laughter, to sit on the veranda & watch the birds & butterflies, to look at the sky through the trees, to hold a yoga pose, a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. The space Getting to Greenaway is a bit of an adventure in itself: you leave the road behind and, with it, the jumble of urbanity and suddenly you're right in the middle of the forest. Greenaway just blends into the surroundings. It’s basically one large space that has unimpeded views of the surrounding forest, endless breezes and birdsong… and the nocturnal sounds of the animal and insect worlds. There’s a ‘look Ma, no walls’ studio style approach… with very few wall surfaces at Greenaway, all sides are punctured by doors and windows which have no glass or wood shutters, but metal grill and mosquito mesh that keep the creatures out, but allow every forest sound, every whiff of breeze and the sheer coolness of the canopy to come through. Guest access The cottage, as well the surrounding forests are open for guests to explore. There are pathways if you'd like to cycle or go for early morning walks. A perfect spot if you enjoy bird watching. Other things to note Please note: phone reception is not a 100% reliable inside the property. We do provide Internet which enables Internet based texting and calling apps for communication. Breakfast supplies will be available for guests to prepare themselves.
