The First Floor The first floor consists of the newly renovated historic part of the Cottage with refinished authentic oak hardwood floors. The LIVING ROOM features original woodwork, gas log fireplace and comfortable furniture. Adjoining the Living Room is a BEDROOM separated by an antique French door. This cozy room also features a queen size bed, plus a library with books and board games for all ages. The DINING ROOM, also part of the historic section of the Cottage, can easily accommodate six, and is conveniently adjacent to the Kitchen for ease of serving food as well as affording an atmosphere for intimate mealtime conversation. The newest part of the Cottage is an addition to the first floor (2007) consisting of a brand new Kitchen, Full Bath, Sun Porch, Laundry Room and back Deck. The spacious, fully equipped KITCHEN has new, modern appliances including range with smooth, radiant cooktop; refrigerator/freezer; microwave and dish-washer. More than ample cabinet and counter- top space make this a great kitchen for entertaining. Just off the kitchen, is a modern FULL BATH with shower, as well as a separate LAUNDRY ROOM with new washer and dryer. Take a few steps through the French door and you’ll be in a magnificent SUN PORCH with vaulted ceiling and beautiful wicker furniture, including a pull-out sofa-bed that sleeps two (thick mattress topper provided). It looks out onto the Village Square and the private back Deck. Outdoor Spaces The LARGE BACK DECK runs the width of the house and is furnished with table and chairs for outdoor dining and a charcoal grill for barbequing. Enjoy the shade and listen to the stream as you cook, relax and share stories with your friends and family. Or, sit around the outdoor fireplace and enjoy the warmth of a fire on a chilly night. And for lazy days and warm Summer nights, the classic COVERED FRONT PORCH overlooking the Village Square is a great place to enjoy the many scheduled festivities that take place on the Square. You’ll have a “front-row seat” for live concerts, arts and craft shows as well as numerous other cultural events. Second Floor The second floor is above the restored, historic part of the Cottage and consists of TWO COZY BEDROOMS (one with queen and the other with full size bed) and a new, MODERN BATH with tub and shower. The bedrooms are warmly decorated and comfortable. There is ample closet space and lots of windows to look out upon the town and the Village Square. Plus, an UPPER BALCONY/DECK with seating for 4 to share some wine and overlook town square activities. Boating, Swimming, Fishing, Shopping & Dining The Village Square with great restaurants, pubs, shops and galleries is literally across the street. From there, it’s just two blocks and a five minute walk down to the waterfront park on Keuka Lake. During your stay in the Village, you can launch your boat, fish off the docks and swim in the lake. And for wine enthusiasts, there are numerous fine wineries in the immediate area. Enjoy one of the wine related touring events or spend a day taking in some of the many wine-tasting venues.
