Situated on 3/4 acre, this cottage is conveniently located in a quiet, wooded setting yet only 10 miles to Acadia National Park and 12 miles to Bar Harbor. Cottage has 2 bedrooms, living room, bath room, open kitchen with all new appliances, and spacious dining area with direct view of the ocean. Enjoy watching the sunrise over the mountains or the beauty of the moonlight on the water. Please be aware that this is a brand new cottage built in 2023-2024 to replace the old cabin we had on this property and to which the reviews refer. We tried to rebuild in the style of the old cabin because we loved it so much, but it was getting difficult to maintain after so many years. The new house has an even better view of the water than the old cabin because it is sited differently. It is fully insulated to Maine building code and has electric heat throughout.
