The piggery (renovated barn)

Quaint renovated piggery in rustic France, still close to amenities. Nearest town, Charroux (market & English bar) only 7km away and 60min drive from airport. Perfect for a relaxing but also active holiday. Everyone welcome. There are a number of restaurants in the area and some with live music evenings. NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN WHO ARE NOT PROFICIENT SWIMMERS The space Old charming piggery in the French countryside which is newly renovated and modernized in a contemporary style with characteristic features. The pool area has no fence so it would nor be suitable for small children and children that cannot swim. On entering you will be greeted by an open space living area which includes a dining area (seats 6) a comfortable living room with a wood burner fireplace and a large tv including English channels. Behind the living area you have the modern kitchen. Fully equipped kitchen with modern amenities. In the Barn are 2 double bedrooms. One queen with en-suite bathroom. Where you can find a bath, shower en bathroom necessities. The master bedroom leads out to a small patio. Other bedroom is double bedroom. Both bedrooms have their own tv's. Across the hall you can find the second bathroom equipped with walk in shower and toilet. Free unlimited WIFI is available through out the whole barn. Patio doors from the kitchen leads to a covered outside patio with gas and charcoal bbq, suitable for outside dining as well as a pizza oven Swimming pool (6x3) (no fencing) with pool lounges. Outside shower and bath (hot and cold water) There is a small vegetable garden, that can be used in season. Towels and cleaning included. Hair dryers are also provided. Nearby places to visit and attractions: Nanteuil-en-Vallee 21km, Ruffec 23km, Verteuil-sur-Charente 26km. Civray offers a market twice a week Tuesday's and Fridays. Perfect place to escape to the French country side for a relaxing or active holiday!
