Belton Abode: A sunny, elegant cottage, 2 minutes walk to South Hobart central and public transport. Nestled in the foothills of Mt. Wellington ('Kunanyi') this funky town abode is full of charm and cool! Centrally located you are offered an unforgettable stay in an environment that is comfortable, and homely. There are great eating options, shops and cafes or accessing public transport close by. Both Salamanca Market and the CBD are an enjoyable 20 minute walk or 5 minutes by car. The space You have access to this tastefully renovated 1920's Cascade Brewery workers' cottage (yes it is an original part of our brewery's story). Belton Adobe is sunny, private, contemporary with views to the iconic Mt. Wellington. The main bedroom offers a queen size bed (with electric blanket). The second bedroom can serve as a private reading area or as a comfortable futon (suitable for one). A snuggly doona and electric blanket is also provide for an additional guest. Please let me know if you would like this bed made in advance. The living room and dining space are filled with an eclectic selection of books, magazines and curios . You will also find visitor information, maps Free WIFI, and TV at the Abode. Both the dining space (caters for 6) and kitchen are bathed in all day sun. A big bonus is my huge gas stove and big fridge/freezer where you always find something to add to your cooking. There is also a separate bathroom and toilet, and the rooms can be comfortably heated/cooled with the airconditioning/heating and instant electric heating panel . Continental breakfast is offered and there are numerous pantry essentials to help if you eat-in - and recipe books. You will find all your favourite cooking utensils to create a great meal. The stove is gas and is very easy to use. There is a washing machine available and plenty of space to hang your washing inside or out. Belton Abode is fully self-contained yet you have some great dining and cafes within 5 minutes walk. You will also find visitor information, maps Free WIFI, and TV at the Abode. Relax on the back deck or on the grass and read more on what Tassie has to offer or snuggle up on one of the cosy couches at night and enjoy the quietness of this great part of SoHO (South Hobart).
