Lake Hideaway - Jagaweh Traunkirchen / Traunsee

This property is located on a hillside, in the center of Traunkirchen. The house was constructed in 1788, and has now been renovated for modern living. Situated in absolute serenity, the house offers a stunning view of the lake, the mountains on the east bank, and the village of Traunkirchen. There will be no other guests or landlord during your period of stay. The city center and the lake are about 8 minutes walking distance from the house on a steep walking trail. NO ROAD ACCESS TO THE HOUSE! The space The house offers absolute peace in the centre of Traunkirchen. Special features are the breathtaking lake view, absolute tranquility, simple interior designs and the summer kitchen with direct garden exit. There will be no other guests or landlord during your period of stay. We use the house as holiday/weekend house and let-out when we are not using it ourselves. Guest access The overall access area is around 120 m2. We rent the first floor consisting of a large living room, bedroom 1 (for the first 2 guests), bedroom 2 (for guest 3 and 4), bathroom equipped with washbasin and tub, separate toilet, entrance hall, terrace. Ground floor with the summer kitchen and garden exit. This room is less used in the cold season because it only has a small wood stove. However, we vary room assignment and bed types to the individual needs of each booking (e.g. infants vs. grownup). If you are 2 guests please let us know in case you want to sleep in separate rooms. Other things to note NOTE: being on a hillside, this property does not have a road access. The closest parking is 8-minutes walk away. Not advisable if you or any of your accompanying guests cannot walk up hill for any reason. Baggage service available on request. Tall guests must be cautious with their heads, low staircase passage down to the kitchen as well as the low door frame into the kitchen located in the ground floor. There is a local tourism fee of 2€ per night per person (starting at age of 15 years and older) that is not included the the price. I will collect this fee at check-in. NOTE: Check-in date can only be confirmed upon your booking request!
