In my experience, some guest tend to expect perfection but do they also have that kinda practice at their own home? I hope you judge kindly.) ✅VERY CENTRAL and EASY ACCESSIBLE if you truly know how to navigate using "GOKL bus" and "GRAB". ✅EASY WALKING, Walking is a pleasure if you like walking around experiencing every bit of the surrounding. Might not be pleasurable if you're totally not the walking type. Some guest expect attractions to be right in front of my door. I'm sorry i couldn't move heaven and earth for you. For me, it's really a pleasure walking around from my place. ✅QUIET and not noisy although located near to the bar and Jalan Alor areas ✅food is CONVENIENT both daytime and night. Loads of food choices at JALAN ALOR, CHANGKAT BUKIT BINTANG, BUKIT BINTANG SHOPPING DISTRICT and PETALING STREET area. Again, if you know how to navigate around. ✅CONVENIENT commute, plenty of transportation choice suitable either for the young or old because there's the convenience of GOKL Bus, GRAB and WALK, whichever you prefer it's easily accessible! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐THE NOT SO GOOD⭐⭐ ⭐⭐⭐ (Disclaimer : The NOT SO GOOD about the place is from Khong's personal perspective also, again, it might be different from yours so I hope you judge kindly.) ✅Although near via GRAB, a tiny bit far if you're walking to Petronas Twin Tower but it is doable if you are the walking type. Doesn't mean its not accessible, GRAB, GOKL bus, LRT train is easy if you know how to navigate, for me, it's easy-peasy because i know which direction the attractions are, easy for you too if you master the directions. ✅Traffic is bad during peak hours. A short distance in a car might take you a lotttt........ longer, to give you an idea, a usual 10min short distance car ride might take you 30mins or even more depending on the time and destination so plan wisely when you decide on transportation and destination. ✅Obviously the crowd is a lot at this area because it's central and closest to most of the tourist favored area. Guest access 🟢【Level 10 facilities】 ------------------------------------------ (Free access but please be respectful of the rules & regulation, especially the swimming pool attire - please refer to my photo for the pool rules) ⏺ LAUNDRY ROOM(Coin operated) ⏺ SWIMMING POOL, a generous and practical size for laps ⏺ KIDS POOL, a right spot for both parents and kids ⏺ KIDS OUTDOOR PLAYGROUND ⏺ KIDS INDOOR PLAYROOM ⏺ GYMNASIUM, sufficiently equipped room ⏺ 24/7 SECURITY 🟢【Level 1 facilities】 ------------------------------------------ ⏺ A convenience shop, with a huge selection to choose from ⏺ PAMPAS RESERVE GRILL & BAR - A fine dine restaurant ⏺ 24/7 SECURITY Other things to note 🛑📢🚨⚠️very important that my house rules are followed. I'd advise you to read my house rules under "Things to know" before booking. 🟢【WEATHER IN MALAYSIA】 ------------------------------------------ ⏺ It's hot & humid here in Malaysia all year round. Cooler temperature happens when it's raining. You don't need thick clothing in Malaysia so it’s less luggage loads for you when travelling here. There's the occasional and unpredictable rain but not to the extent where you can't enjoy your vacation. 🟢【CLOTHINGS GUIDE】 ------------------------------------------ ⏺ Yes, Malaysia is a Muslim majority country but with multi ethnicity and religions so we are still quite democratic in many ways. Malaysians tend to be democratic when it comes to fashion because Malaysia is a multi racial country so don't be too worried over what clothing to bring. Although there is no rules restricting you wearing shorts and tees or spaghetti straps but we've always encouraged travelers to respect the Islamic cultures in Malaysia by not putting on over-revealing attires when out in the public. You can wear shorts and tees, but lets not be too short till your butt cheeks are out on display or go commando under a thin layered almost transparent tee. 🟢【PEOPLE & LANGUAGE】 ------------------------------------------ ⏺ Malaysia is a multi-ethnicity country. There are quite a number of language/dialects spoken here in Malaysia. Although the Malay language (Bahasa Malaysia) is our national language, most people here understands English so you won’t have a hard time communicating. Communicating with local Chinese, Indians and other ethnic groups won't be a problem too, you can speak Cantonese/Mandarin with a Chinese OR Tamil with an Indian and we can still understand and communicate. ⏺ Even if language is still a problem, it's a modern world so smartphone apps can do the job for you. Generally, Malaysians are genuinely friendly and helpful if you ask. 🟢【DRIVING IN MALAYSIA】 ------------------------------------------ ⏺ Here in Malaysia, the driver is on the right and the passenger on the left. If you are planning to rent yourself a car and drive around, it is highly suggested that you get yourself a "Touch n Go" or a.k.a "TNG" card. The card is mainly used for paying the highway/motorway tolls, the buses, metros and also parking establishment. You will surely need it when driving around Malaysia. The most you are going to use is at toll booths and some parking establishment. 🟢【GET A PREPAID SIM CARD】 *info updated 2024 ------------------------------------------ ⏺ Prepaid sims are quite cheap in Malaysia so I would advise you to get one if you are not on roaming. If you are planning to get a prepaid sim card for your phone while here at Malaysia, I would highly recommend these few top providers which you'll be able to find their stores at the airport or any parts of Malaysia. 1) MAXIS (HOTLINK) 2) CELCOM DIGI 3) U MOBILE 4) TUNE TALK 🛑📢🚨⚠️ I'd highly recommend either HOTLINK MAXIS or CELCOMDIGI because these 2 providers are considered the biggest telco & provide better coverage in the whole of Malaysia ⚠️⚠️
