Paradise Road Farm

Relax and enjoy stunning views in one of two architecturally designed cabins, nestled in the rolling hills, just outside the town of Sheffield and on the main road to Cradle Mountain. You will be staying on our working farm that is home to platypus in the dams, a small herd of Speckle Park beef cattle and some fat and friendly goats. The farm is proudly centered eco-friendly, regenerative principles, promoting a healthy environment for birds, insects and other life to flourish. The space Kick off your shoes and unwind completely in our studio cabins, enjoying window seat views of Mount Roland and the surrounding scenic countryside. From your bed you can watch the moon rise and view the stars of the milky way or even an aurora if you are very lucky. This cabin can host 2 people with a choice of either a king or twin share. (*Note the twin beds are accommodated in the same space as the king. Please let us know if you would like 2 beds set up when you book). Other features for your stay include: • eco-friendly wool and organic cotton bedding • free WIFI • spacious bathroom and walk- in shower • locally sourced/ eco-friendly toiletries. • kitchenette –(microwave and fridge, tea and freshly ground coffee.) • seasonal and locally sourced breakfast provisions are included. Accessibility notes: The bed/s are set on a raised platform roughly half a meter high - to allow guests to enjoy the stunning view towards Mount Roland please check the image in the gallery if you have any concerns about your ability to comfortably and confidently access this space. Guest access We've carefully designed the cabin to offer you your own private space, set in a garden, overlooking the paddocks and surrounding countryside. Its a short walk away from the car parking area along a gravel path through the garden, (ensuring a quiet and tranquil location away from the sounds of cars starting and tyres on the main driveway) There is a shared undercover BBQ area in one of our rustic sheds overlooking the platypus dam for guest use. (salt, pepper and olive oil are provided). Our beautiful grass fed beef is available to buy from our farm shop. You are welcome to use our guest laundry facilities (washing machine and dryer). Please ask for directions. Note there is one other cabin on site and a manager's residence. Other things to note EV charging- unfortunately there are currently no accessible charge points (including access to standard power point) to charge your vehicle- (due to a few current complicating factors) This is something we hope to change in the future. In the meantime there is a public charge point a few minutes up the road in Sheffield (the Town of Murals- something to check out while you are charging) Registration Details Exempt: This listing is a hotel, motel, or caravan park
