The townhome is an open floor plan on the first level as you enter in. A cozy See Thru Fireplace graces the living room area with the popular Samsung Picture Frame Smart TV featuring artists paintings. Next is the Dining area featuring a 150 gallon Aquarium and our gourmet kitchen equipped with large Breakfast Bar where you can sit and drink your favorite beverages. We have the family guard Dog, Millionaire, a male Blue Lacy-Pit Bull Mix who is a gentle giant who loves our guests. He is affectionately called Milly. He will greet you at the door with hugs and a wagging tail. Guests are welcome to utilize the home as we all share the common areas of the home including the outdoor areas on this property. I am very active in the community doing neighborhood improvements. Also Co-hosting with other hosts here in the area. My Grandchildren come to visit with grandma. Willing to assist with anything you may need assistance with such as transportation, places to shop, dine and attractions. Guests without a vehicle, I can assist when l can, especially in bad weather. We live in a Gated Private Community. Neighbors are cordially quiet. We are very close to Wilmington's downtown business district (5 minutes). Outside the Tall Black Iron Gate is busy and can be a little noisy. It is comforting to live in a gated Community which gives us more privacy and a sense of added security. The home is situated in a Court like setting centrally located in the middle of our block. The public and pedestrians do have access through our gated community. We are not locked in. The Beautiful Brandywine Park and Zoo on the River has breathtaking views and is only four blocks from the home. A must see! Absolutely gorgeous. Many people jog and power walk around the river. Wilmington has the arts and music. The Riverfront has a great mix of restaurants, Planet Fitness, Cinemax Movie Theater, museums and several hotels. For a night out downtown on the Riverfront is only a 10 minute drive from the home. If you don't have a car take Dart Bus #13 one block from the home straight to the Riverfront or Wilmington's business district featuring Cafe Mezzanotte and the New Bardea Fine restaurants, shops & Boutiques, Amtrak, Grey Hound Bus Depot and Happy Bus Depot. There are several buses to take downtown Wilmington only one block to walk each way. Tarnsportation is easy. If you have a vehicle, Interstates I-95 & 495 and Concord Avenue which turns into Route 202 going to our famous Fairfax Strip Mall, Concord Mall and then right over the Pennsylvania/Delaware line into Pennsylvania's Garnet Valley and Glen Mills area and Route One are close and easily accessible. Ten minutes to downtown Wilmington business district and the Riverfront Attractions by car and if you are walking-- 15 - 20 minutes), Amtrak Train Station & Greyhound Bus Station. Dart Public Bus transportation runs from 5:00am until 10:30pm daily. Not all routes run after 10:30pm. Saturday/Sunday bus service is limited. No night buses. Must use UBER or LYFT. There are four bus lines close to Elliott Run. Cost to ride bus is $2.00 Guests can work from home if the company requires it. Plus access to a Brother Printer in-house for your at home staycation to print or scan documents as needed at no cost to you. Complimentary coffee, continental breakfast and snacks, too.
