Located in the Hillcrest area of San Diego just blocks to Balboa Park is Waterhaven, a non smoking, adults only retreat and the perfect place to enjoy your San Diego stay. 325 square feet, a fully private retreat that includes your own living space, bathroom, and kitchen. The guesthouse has dual paned windows, no shared walls, and the yard is fully protected with a stone wall for privacy and security. Waterhaven is a quiet, peaceful, relaxing experience. The space We are committed to Airbnb's enhanced cleaning protocol. Your spacious private patio is directly outside your guesthouse door, and sits next to a large koi pond with waterfalls. The guesthouse has a new heating and air conditioning unit for your comfort. The guesthouse is sparkling clean! We change the mattress pad, and hypoallergenic pillow encasings after every guest, and you will sleep well on a great bed, with 1000 thread-count cotton sheets. We sanitize the guesthouse before each guest arrives. Bleach wipes are used on any surface that is touched...light switches, remote controls, all door handles and door pulls, arms of chairs...everything! The cottage is located on the back half of our property. Off-street parking is available, and on-site parking is always available for you. San Diego isn't just about beaches! Enjoy Balboa Park, and its 17 museums, Old Town, live theater, street festivals, Food festivals, the Hotel Del Coronado, Legoland, the San Diego Zoo & Safari Park - And a scenic drive to the mountains or desert is always nice. Waterhaven is more than just a place to stay, it's an experience, and we look forward to sharing it with you! Additional rules: FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS – Any reservation obtained under false pretense will immediately forfeit 100% of payment, and the party will not be permitted to check-in. No children are accepted from ages 0 - 18. Waterhaven is not suitable for children. Adults only, 18 years of age and up. 2 adults max occupancy. No extra guests are allowed. Must lock the guesthouse and entrance gate after entering and upon leaving the property. Guests MUST be quiet by 10 p.m., in respect of our neighbors, and us. Also, any visiting guests who are not staying here must depart the premises by 10 p.m. Guest access You are welcome to use the additional patio where the barbecue is located, which is on the opposite side of the pond...directly opposite your exclusive patio of the guesthouse. The guesthouse has Paramount Plus with Showtime, Peacock Premium, and Discovery Plus. The bathroom has a pocket door for privacy. We live on the premises and are generally available to assist with anything you need. This is a quiet neighborhood with wonderful neighbors. Please respect everyone, and everything as if it were your own. Clean towels and linens, are provided. The kitchen includes a Keurig coffee maker (coffee and coffee-mate creamers included), teas, dishware, cooking utensils, pots & pans, refrigerator and microwave, gas stove, and oven. The outdoor gas barbecue is always available for your use. The fridge is perfect for leftovers and a few drinks. If you'd like to say hello, we love to meet our guests but also understand if you like to do your own thing. We are just a phone call or text, or knock at the door away if you need anything during your stay. A washer and dryer is available between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Our home is just next door, so if you forgot to bring something, just ask. If we can help, we will! We’re available to answer questions, make suggestions...or give you complete privacy. Communication is key...quick and easy via text, cell phone and email. All you have to do is ask. San Diego Business Tax Certificate and TOT certificate are posted in living area. Also, our Airbnb host certificate is posted at the entrance gate of our property.
