The perfect rural, quiet, retreat studio. Great for single women artists, writers, those seeking a peaceful space. Your own entrance with off-road parking, fenced courtyard, fully equipped kitchenette, private bath, and super high speed internet. The space The guestroom is light, bright and comfy with a full/double bed, high speed internet, TV with extensive live channels, movies, sports and premium channels, including Netflix and Amazon Prime. Private bath with tub/shower. The space has its own private entrance with off street parking. You also have a small enclosed east-facing courtyard, just perfect for having your morning coffee. The kitchenette includes a 3/4 sized refrigerator with freezer, microwave, countertop oven that includes an air fry feature and 2 burner hot plate. Coffee maker, dishes, pots and pans and basic utensils provided. Dresser space, large closet, kitchen prep-cart, and small table and chairs gives you the full functionality needed if you are settling in for a little while. You'll find the area is quiet and peaceful and well suited for creative endeavors. We are a dark sky community so it is a great place to view the stars. Guest access Guests have access to the guestroom and their private courtyard. If needed, a guest can ask to use the washer and dryer in the main part of the house. During your stay You can be assured that I will make you feel comfortable, and answer any questions you may have when you check in. I encourage a sanctuary like environment for my guests and will respect your privacy at all times. The main part of the house is not available to guests, as I work at home and have long hours. If you have questions or need something text me and I'll knock on your door. Other things to note This guest room is the perfect quiet, rural space for a personal retreat. I think it is perfect for the single traveler. I prefer to host single women, or a couple. No kids please. Pets may be accepted on a case by case basis. I am also offering the space in conjunction with private Reiki training. If you have wanted to learn Reiki, whether it be level one or level two - this is an opportunity to have personal one-on-one training. My lineage is in the Usui Method. Level 1 Reiki training is taught over a 4 day period. Reiki 2 - a minimum of two days. Reiki treatments are also available. Other sessions would also be available like Medicine Wheel Ceremony, Past-Life Regressions, Akashic Record Readings, etc.
