The space Welcome to the Dafne suite. The legend tells of the god Apollo who, in love with the beautiful Daphne, began to chase her determined to win her love. Just as she was about to be reached, Daphne begged her father to save her; it was thus transformed into a laurel plant. The myth inspired numerous poems by Ovid and D'Annunzio and also numerous piarist and sculptural works, including the famous marble group by Bernini entitled Apollo and Daphne, exhibited at the Borghese gallery in Rome.
