Seasonal Rental - *3 Night min* It's never too early to start planning your summer getaway. The "Laundry at West Wind Village" is charmingly nestled snuggly in the woods. Fully equipped kitchen, WiFi, indoor shower and for a little of that "glamping" experience, an outhouse. A short 2 minute walk down the hill to your own private beach on the lake where you can watch the sunset play out over the mountain. Feel free to bring your own water craft. Oh, and did I mention the great fishing. The space The 'Laundry' was rebuilt recently as a studio space with a ‘bath’ room with hot/cold shower and changing area. You can get back to basics with the outhouse just a few steps from the front door. There is a DOUBLE bed as well as a futon. It would be optimal for 2 guests, but the futon can accommodate another. It has a fully outfitted kitchen. It is surrounded by acres of woodlands and country roads perfect for walking or biking. This property is not winterized, but there is a heating element available for the cooler temperatures. The 'Laundry' is available for rent from June through the end of September. Guests can bring their own kayaks, canoes or paddle boards that can be left on their own private beach. Lake Winnepauket is a popular fishing spot as well, with large and small mouth bass, yellow perch, pickerel and rainbow trout and of course sunfish. You can obtain a license online if you plan to fish. Other things to note While you’re here you can head up to the center of Webster to Coffin Cellars Winery specializing in fruit and berry wines made right here in Webster. Or to satisfy your sweet tooth there's Richardson’s Farm in Boscawen, for some delicious homemade ice cream and baked goods. Mt Kearsarge is the mountain at the end of the lake and is a short drive away in nearby Warner – Rollins State Park. Or you can climb from the Wilmot NH side – Winslow State Park - for more of a challenge. There is a Market Basket and NH state liquor store 20 minutes away in Warner as well as local farmer’s markets and places to pick seasonal berries in the area. It’s the best of both worlds, away from it all, but close enough if you want a little something more.
