Red Lion is a charming spacious 18th century stone cottage in the pretty conservation village of Hognaston high in the hills of Derbyshire. Sympathetically renovated to a high standard it offers everything you need for a perfect getaway. 3 en-suite bedrooms and downstairs loo too! Cosy log burner, underfloor heating and private garden for that early morning cuppa! Great walks, cycling, and water sports on your doorstep and classic country pub next door. The space Built in 1891 Red Lion is the classic country cottage, with thick stone walls, timber beams and lots of character. Red Lion a spacious 3 bedroom cottage sleeping 6 offers ideal accommodation for family and friends. LOUNGE . Comfortable seating for 6, log burner, and flat screen TV for cosy evenings in. DINING ROOM. Large table and seating for 6 KITCHEN. Well equipped large kitchen. Range cooker, dishwasher, fridge freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and microwave. BEDROOMS 1 and 2 king sized beds , TV’s and en-suite shower rooms with underfloor heating and heated towel rail. BEDROOM 3 twin beds FAMILY BATHROOM with roll top bath, separate shower, underfloor heating and heated towel rail. OUTSIDE SPACE. Private terraced garden and patio area, outside dining for 6 and BQ A full basket of logs and kindling are provided, further logs can be purchased during your stay. Guest access All of the cottage is available Other things to note Mobile phones can be used by connecting to the Wi-FI in your settings. The WI-FI codes are in the information booklet in the cottage. If there are only 2 persons a reduction will be given. Please contact Linda. There is a play area for children in the village. You can park opposite the cottage but if you have more than one car you may have to park further down. I also have a parking space in the village hall car park a few minutes walk.
