The house, with spectacular views of the ocean and part of the 'Sierra Cabrera' mountain range, is situated in one of the worlds prettiest villages, Mojacar, which gently leads down the mountain, arriving just over a kilometer or so away to the coastline. We are just on the edge of the Cabo de Gata National Park, about 5 hours from Tarifa (Surf mecca), 2 hours from Granada (Alhambra), 2 hours from Alicante and 45 minutes from Almeria. The space The house, which is over a hundred and fifty years old, sleeps two people and is situated on a pleasant non-traffic street. Fabulous sea views are to be had from most aspects in the house. The space is cosy, but bright and airy, having been completely refurbished to a modern standard with underfloor heating and air conditioning. In other words, you have all the old world charm of an original Spanish village 'casita' with a touch of modern comfort! Guest access All modern conveniences exist. Fully equipped kitchen. Osmosis filter for drinking water. Washing machine. Underfloor heating and air conditioning. All bedding and towels are supplied. WiFi and books are on hand. All you need to pack is your own sense of adventure! Parking can be had on the next street or down in the car park. We are animal lovers and so your furry friends are welcome for a small fee (to cover the hairs!) Due to the narrow stairs to the terrace, the house may not be suitable for the elderly or people who find climbing stairs difficult. Please look at the corresponding picture. Other things to note Fully refurbished, the house has been preserved in the original spirit but modernized inside. Heating is done ecologically with a heat-pump, and the underfloor heating system keeps it all cosy and warm in the cooler winter months.
