The Cougarde cottage is located in the small village of Mouthoumet, on the GR36. The view from the windows is of the village. The street is quiet and not very busy. You can stop in front of the vacation rental to unload your luggage and then park in the communal car park located 1 minute away on foot. Access is from the back of the house. The cottage is very bright and spacious. Internet access is free. A very large DVD library is also available, as well as many board games. Cell phones work better near the window in the children's room. You can also make calls via Wi-Fi (Whatsapp, Messenger). Our concern is your complete satisfaction, if you prefer a secluded cottage in the middle of nature, outside the village, we advise you to choose the Le Carcassès cottage. Booking from Saturday to Saturday in season. It is possible to arrive on the day at your convenience outside the high season. IMPORTANT: we do not charge a cleaning fee, so the cottage must be left clean and tidy upon checkout (emptied bins, emptied dishwasher...) A deposit check of €60 will be requested for cleaning. To date, we have never kept a deposit. Practical information for groups: The water heater is 200 liters but heats continuously throughout the day, so if you come with 9 people, you will have to spread the showers over the day. There is only one bathroom with toilet. Guest access Guests have private access to the rental, via 7 steps at the back of the house. The rental is located on the first and second floor of a village house. Other things to note Please bring your own linens and towels. If necessary, it is possible to rent them. The view from the windows is of the village. The street is very quiet. We are flexible for your arrival time, but in case of a rental just before you, it is possible that the vacation rental is only ready at 3 p.m. or 4 p.m. maximum. But, in general, it is possible to arrive earlier. Contact us for more information. The vacation rental has electric heaters in each room, the price of which is included in the rental price.
