Unique Traditional House in heart of town

Dar tat-Tramuntana (literally the house of the north wind) is one of the oldest buildings in Mosta. The house is 400 years old. The building was probably an isolated farmhouse until the community of Mosta grew around it. Sometime afterwards it was converted into a mill and now restored with love and care into a unique House of Character. The tranquil courtyard, perfect for al-fresco dinning is enclosed by Maltese honey coloured stone walls. The space New on the market and just renovated, this one of a kind House of Characters/farmhouse situated in the heart of Mosta. After you enter the ancient doors a large hall leads onto a living room to the right and straight ahead is a spacious courtyard with a wide double stone staircase leading to the upper floor. The wall of the courtyard contains some rare scratched etchings of early sailing craft that have still to be properly identified by antiquarian experts. BBQ is free to use. At ground level a new designer kitchen, equipped with high end gas cooker and refrigerator, microwave. coffee machine , pots, pans, plates and kitchen utensils etc. a dinning room, living room with TV. Washing machine is available and comes with a charge. This house also has a authentic birth room. At first floor accessed by 2 staircases from outside or one spiral from inside are 3 authentic fully air-conditioned bedrooms (pay per use meters) and 2 full bathrooms/shower with bath tub. In all the bathrooms/shower rooms towels, hand washing soap and toilet paper are provided. Top level is the roof used for sunbathing and views of Mosta Dome and Mdina. If you are a family or a group of friend wanting a real peaceful ambience then this is best place to be. it offers great value for those who want privacy and self catering. The location is central and very convenient since it is situated just 1 minute walk away from famous Mosta Dome. Our town of Mosta is set right in the middle of the island and getting to the every side of the island is easy. WIFI is totally free. This is fully licenced and approved by the Malta Tourism Authority. Guest access Entrance to the house is from a big door leading to a wide foyer with stone arches. So much history and heritage once you step in this one of a kind house in the heart of Mosta. Car space available in front of the house. Other things to note A period of 1 day is left unavailable between stays for proper cleaning. In the yard there is plenty of space for relaxation. A full size gas bbq is also available. Great way to get family and friends together in a unique ambience. A yoga room is available. Close by there are all the amenities required which include a super market, green grocery, bar/restaurants, pharmacy, gym and doctor clinic. Bedrooms/bathrooms are open according to the number of guests.. Note: 1 to 2 guests - one main bedroom and one bathroom. 3 to 4 guests - one main bedroom and one smaller bedroom with bunk beds and one bathroom. 5 to 6 guests - all bedrooms and 2 bathrooms open.
