Guindais was originally named after an old wharf that disappeared in 1940. It is also the name of the funicular and the famous stairs that give access to the riverside area. The building of the apartment Guindais, dates back to the 30's, retaining its original structure and facades, as well as an elevator of the era - presenting itself as one of the most interesting features of the building.
