"Sweet memories" - Casa Saba Villanovafranca

This is a newly renovated house, typical of Campidano. The house houses an ancient oven, once used for baking and preparing typical Sardinian sweets for family use. It is located in the center of the village, has an internal courtyard with parking option. It is close to the Archaeological Museum, town hall, pharmacy and all the essential amenities. In Villanovafranca you can visit "Su Mulinu" nuraghe, a typical ancient megalithic edifice dating back to 1500 A.C., where the only altar of that timewas discovered. Near by there is the village of Las Plassas with the castleand "Muda", ranked best medieval multimedia museum in Italy. In the village of Barumini you can visit "Casa Zapata", a 17th century Spanish palace, built on an ancient nuraghevisible from the transparent glass walkways. It is also possible to visit the most important nuraghe of the territory called "SuNuraxi",surrounded by the village, completely repaired and located at the foot of the Giara plateau where you can take a closer look at wild horses of a particular local breed.
