An old charming home, with typical courtyards. I’m offering an experience that is unique in Muscat. The bedrooms are off the main courtyard. The area is peaceful and quiet. The Muscat Palace, National Museum, Matrah souk, Marina are located within a few minutes walk or drive. Rare to find old homes in Muscat, and this is a gem! An experience to be had. You could either opt for a one single room and it’s bathroom is across the courtyard or double bedroom en-suite (upon request). Listening to the soft sounds of birds chirping early morning is splendid as you sip your cup of tea or coffee in the courtyard. The living areas, courtyard and kitchen. The guest can enjoy reading a book, while surrounded by old world charm. Simple Breakfast is available that will include tea and coffee, bread, croissant, butter & jam and juices. When you feel like a cup of tea or coffee or a juice during your stay, please feel free to make one. I live on the property, so can always guide and assist. I would be glad to assist you with any queries you may have. I have left a book of 100 things to do in Oman by your bedside table. It's a typical fishing village, a true experience and lifestyle. You are literally in the city but it seems like you are in a village somewhere in the interior. Advisable to hire a car so you get to see the city as its wide and spread out. But you can always walk two minutes to the road and grab a taxi or walk to the palace area and national museum (approx. 10 minutes walk). You can also call careem a car service like Uber. Offering comfort and local living to the guest. Do ask me for anything, as I will gladly advise you. Although I live in the house, I prefer to let the guests enjoy the quietness of the house. This is an old home with modern items around. For me its a pleasure living here and to share my home. WiFi is available across the living areas and courtyards but not in the bedrooms.
