Paw Paw Cabin at Buffalo Gap Retreat

This efficiency studio cabin is ideal for small to midsized groups. It is one of the many rustic accomodations located within Buffalo Gap Retreat. The space Paw Paw is a whole cabin rental with a private entrance. Paw Paw is separated from Hickory cabin by a locked door with latches on both sides (Hickory can be rented in conjunction with Paw Paw and the doors can be unlocked). Hickory also shares a wall with Willow cabin (forming the Hickory/Paw Paw/Sugar Maple/Willow quadplex). • Paw Paw is one of 20+ cabins available for rent at Buffalo Gap Retreat. • Maximum capacity is 6 people. • Paw Paw offers 2 queen beds and 2 single loft beds. • Please note, linens and towels are not included in the Airbnb price. Linens and towels can be rented from the Office for an additional charge. • Paw Paw has a private full bathroom and a well-stocked kitchenette (includes dorm fridge, hot plate, electric griddle, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, pots and pans, plates and glasses). • There is a combination air conditioner/heater. Switch modes as needed. • This cabin includes its own parking spot, fire-pit, grill, and outdoor table. • Amenities at Buffalo Gap include a private lake with white sand beach, Lakeview Cafe/Dining Hall with Wifi, 0.7 acre fenced-in dog park, swimming, catch-and-release fishing, spa (cosmetology & massage available for a fee), lakefront wood-fired sauna (fee), on-site hiking trails, volleyball, basketball courts, complementary use of kayaks and canoes, and various lawn games. • Firewood is located outside of the office cottage and is sold by the bundle. Please deposit payment at the black drop box on the left side of the office cottage porch. • When not privately rented, the Beach House offers games such as ping-pong, and cornhole for guest use. • Buffalo Gap is a pet-friendly destination; the pet-fee is $20 for up to two pets per cabin. • Wi-fi is available at the Lakeview Cafe/Dining Hall building, but is not accessible from the cabins. Guest access • Front entrance gate is always open. • Your cottage door has an electronic keypad lock. You will be sent the code to your cottage the morning of your arrival. Other things to note • On-site manager generally available (in-person, phone, or message) to handle any questions or needs. • The sauna or laundry room may be booked for a fee, on a first-come-first-served basis, at the Office Cottage.
