Ideal as a comfortable home base after enjoying all that Melbourne has to offer. Perfect place to relax and enjoy with others, not just a pad in which to stay, but one can live here! The refurbished open-plan kitchen has bar with stools, newly installed gantry, coffee pod machine, gourmet kitchen, microwave and dishwasher. The open plan living/dining area is amply furnished for convenience and comfort, with TV, books and games. The spacious 'slice of paradise' balcony overlooking St. Kilda Rd allows you to sit and enjoy a morning coffee before taking on the day . The cockatoos might join for conversation and sunflower seeds (supplied). They are very friendly but have sharp beaks. Both bedrooms comfortably sleep up to two adults (1 x king, 2 x king singles), featuring floor to ceiling mirrored wardrobes. The master bedroom has its ensuite bathroom, wall mounted TV, cozy reading nook and its own small private balcony. A roll-out single bed may be supplied on request for 5th small adult or child. In each bathroom there is a spacious shower, toilet, hand-washing facilities and mirror, the main bathroom also contains the washing machine and dryer. Free secure designated undercover parking located close to lifts. For the artistic or craft-minded Hilary offers groups of two or more (who stay a week or longer) a unique opportunity to learn silk painting and take home a finished product of a silk-painted hand-rolled hemmed scarf (180-35cm). All materials supplied, cost $370/person. This is a hobby of hers and is labour-intensive. She lives about 15km away in Bayside area. Bookings must be secured. Can be confirmed at time of booking accommodation. Large classes cannot be arranged as frames for silk are huge and indoors.
