If you want to rest in a peaceful place both in summer and winter, make a fire, fish at the end of the dock or on the ice, go boating or snowmobiling, this place will suit you perfectly. A boat ramp is accessible at the Pierreville town hall just a few minutes away. Your pets are also welcome, however, it is important to be respectful of the premises and they must be tied when they are outside. Relaxation guaranteed! The space The chalet entrance is located at the back. We have two closed bedrooms with double beds. A bathroom with a bath-shower as well as an open-plan kitchen, dining room and living room. We also have a 3-season solarium available so you can relax and admire the Saint-François River. Since we are located in a flood zone, our basement is not currently equipped. There is a wood-burning fireplace as well as a bunk bed that can accommodate 3 people (double at the bottom and single at the top) as well as a sofa bed. Another bed is located in the solarium. It should be noted, however, that it is not possible to sleep there in winter. The mattress can be moved to another room if you put it back in its place upon checkout. Finally, an outdoor gazebo is accessible for you. Unfortunately, for people with reduced mobility, there are several steps to climb to enter our property. On the other hand, inside all the rooms are located on the same floor (bedrooms and bathroom). Guest access You have access to the whole property except the garage (storage). Other things to note - We accept your pets (cats and dogs), but they must be on a leash outside, not bark to disturb the neighbors, and their waste must be picked up. They can also swim, as the current is not very strong in the river. - We have some life jackets available in the master bedroom closet. We have few sizes for children, so I would recommend bringing your own. - You are responsible for supervising your children on the dock and around the river. Also, there is no safety barrier for the basement staircase. If you have young children, you have to be vigilant at all times. - If you want to swim in the river, you can do it. You should not expect a lake or translucent water. It is a shallow river and there may be algae on the banks of the river. No no-swimming notice is indicated for this river. Don't dive at the end of the dock. We recommend that you always wear a life jacket. - For fishing enthusiasts, you can fish directly at the end of the dock. A permit must be purchased in advance at the Saint-François-du-Lac convenience store (10 minutes). If you have any further questions, please contact us. - We don't want any "parties or excessive gatherings". We have a very respectful relationship with our neighbors.
