The lower two floors are the owners apartment. The owners apartment has a separate entry to the house. The space The carefully and loverly restored historic house is a wonderful example of the victorian era with a modern twist. This huge space is tastefully furnished with extra pride being taken on cleanliness. Everything from the bedding to the decor has been carefully taken in consideration for guest to have a comfortable stay. With quick access to the sites yet giving you the real side of New York. We are situated within a 3 minute walk from the JZM lines 'Kosciuszko' metro station . Set over two floors the space is totally private. Rare by New York standards the space also offers a washing machine and dryer. You will marvel at the inner architecture of the house the detail of victorian workmanship and how spacious the house is. Other things to note The House is 140 years old, so it is not perfectly square or perpendicular as my attempts are to maintain its authenticity along with making sufficient advancements this adds to the charm and feel of the house and the overall area. If you choose to occupy all five bedrooms the huge living room will double as the fifth bedroom although it can still be used as a living. All beds are queen sized as well as the bedrooms. One of the three bathrooms is private to a bedroom. A total of 6 beds can be provided. The living rooms bed can be split into two to make two single beds depending on the needs of the guests party. TV is not provided although internet wifi is and is free. Street parking is never usually a problem. Garage parking at the house is provided at an extra cost. The Apartment is set out on two floors with a walk up of one flight of steps 'outside the house' and another flight of steps one in the house. Bathroom 1 can either be accessed via the hallway or through bedroom 1. Bedroom 1 has no door door. Most rooms have the original victorian window shutters on them although all are not functional. The fireplaces are not functional. The house is situated on the corner of Malcolm x Blvd and Greene Avenue which is quite noisy daytime traffic like most of New York. Nights are pretty quiet, but not for a super light sleeper.
