Let yourself be taken to a world of peace and romance. Pouligny is a blissful destination: The farmhouse includes five bedrooms each with their own flower motif, two elegant living spaces with fully equipped kitchens, and a new wellness area. Add to that the spacious veranda overlooking the wide surroundings and the domain (and swimming pool of the neighbors)… There is no better base imaginable to explore the soothing nature, the tasty wines and rich culture of the Loire region! The space This longère or langgevelhoeve from 1780 recently received a full makeover. The owners, who fell like a block for the charm and authenticity of the home, have expertly restored it to a piece of beauty with character. With a mix of valuable furniture, bright spaces, and adjustments to the comfort of our time, the whole exudes a contemporary elegance and the grandeur from the past. The farmhouse includes two gîtes (Gîte Annick and Gîte Madeleine) that merges but can also be separated in a modular way. For example, an ideal holiday stay is created for families or groups of friends who like to celebrate vacation together but occasionally want the privacy of their own family. The farm is always rented out in its entirety (so both gites together). Both gîtes have a private kitchen and salon. The kitchens are both equipped with all modern comforts, including a dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave oven, Senseo machine, … There are 5 inviting bedrooms, each with their own flower motif. These motifs are visible in the hand-painted tiles, the calligraphy, and custom-made paintings by our home artist, Celeste Van Langenhove. The farm next door has a mezzanine, 4 new bathrooms and 2 separate toilets. The authentic beams in the ceiling and custom artistic decoration add to the romantic atmosphere and set the tone for a casual yet stylish stay. Two bedrooms are located on the ground floor. Both are accessible for less mobile. One of the two (the Poppy room) has an en-suite shower room with lavabo. The other (the Engelentrompetkamer) piles at the ground floor bathroom/wellness area with walk-in shower, hot tub and infrared sauna. From these rooms you can get into the spacious veranda: a lovely place with a fantastic view over the picturesque surroundings and ideal for spotting the local fauna, including deer, foxes, pheasants and partridges. In summer, you can enjoy the sun on one of the terraces, or the cooling shade under the old chestnut tree and walker. The large swimming pool is good for many hours of wonderful water fun for young and old. ( On request, you can possibly access the new, naturally heated swimming pool from the neighbors.) After a long walk, canoe or bike ride, you can be pampered in the infrared cabin or hot tub. After that, the coziness is on the fire in one of the cozy salons with a book, a fun board game or a nice glass of regional wine (Sancerre, Pouilly Fumé, Burgundy,...). For those who are in the mood for making music, there is a piano in the salon! In any case, enjoy is the message here, in every season! Guest access On the domain of 2500 m2 there is plenty of parking space for several cars. Other things to note The lungere consists of 2 gites that are interconnected. This large house is always available to rent. The garden of the holiday home is located on a domain with a country house and swimming pool, without fish-a-vis. This domain is owned by other owners.
