Rolling Pin Ranch House

Authentic farmhouse nestled in barnyard of a working ranch. Great Mountain views out every window. The house is comfortable with country charm. Mountains within 10 miles in two directions. The Bear River curves through the ranch. In the summer enjoy the shade from the huge trees in the yard. The convenience of a small town 1.8 miles away. Lava Hot Springs, Soda Springs, Historical Chesterfield close by. The space Feel free to adjust the thermostat, or open the windows for temperature control. The house stays cool in summer because of the trees, and night temperatures are cool. Queen bed has a 4 inch Memory foam mattress pad. Twin bed has a has a three inch memory foam mattress pad. Full bed has a mattress cover. Original wood floors in two of the bedrooms. New flooring in the kitchen. The carpet in the front room is old, but very durable. Rugs added for comfort. This is an old ranch house it is comfortable, but not perfect! Doors and floors creak, and two more f the smaller bedrooms doors won’t latch closed. The house has shifted in it 100 + years of history. Guest access The yard around the house is fenced. Open gate and use the front door to enter. The back door has the laundry and exits to the side of the house. Park in the front of the house. Room for three cars. Pickup and trailer will also fit. If you need more space just let me know, and we can find some place to park additional vehicles. Other things to note If interested in Kayaking the Black canyon make sure you know what you are getting into. Search: Kayak Bear River at Black Canyon. Across the Highway the River is calm and has a public access. The Alexander Reservoir is also close by and has a public access. Bear Lake is an hour away if you are in the mood for a day trip. Oneida Narrows are 30 minutes away. Hunters welcome! ATV, UTV, dirt bike and snow machine trails near by. Snowmachining, fishing, hiking, boating, swimming, biking, bird watching. Our home is a playground for outdoors enthusiasts. It is like most of Idaho a "hidden Gem"!
