A beautiful renovated apartment over two floors in the heart of Rovinj old town. Ideal for a couple. It has stunning views over the rooftops, a small terrace, all amenities and is 5 mins walk to the sea. The space Our apartment is located on Rovinj's famous Grisia Street, in the heart of Rovinj's old town, with its' numerous bars and restaurants. The flat is over two floors and our unique position affords captivating views across the terracotta rooftops and chimneys. From our small terrace you look straight up at the 18th century Venetian tower of St Euphemia. The apartment is over 200 years old, and we fully renovated the property when we purchased it a few years ago, maintaining its special character, while adding modern conveniences. The two small alcoves on the lower floor are actually 'gold holes' put in many years ago for former residents to hide their valuables. The sea is less than 5 minutes walk through the warren of alleyways. Our minimum stay from June to September is 7 nights. Guest access You will be able to hire the entire apartment for your stay here. As the apartment is located in the heart of the old town, it is not directly accessible by car. However, we can arrange different luggage transport options for guests if you so require. The closest parking is approximately 300 metres away. There is a short walk uphill on a cobbled street to reach our apartment The apartment does not have wheelchair access. Other things to note It is easy to get to Rovinj by car, plane or sea. Nearby Pula airport is a 30 minute drive from Rovinj and there are numerous flights in summer. Trieste airport is also only a 90 minute drive away. Rovinj can also be reached by hydrofoil from Venice, which drops passengers at a terminal 5 minutes walk from our apartment. Venice can be reached by air from many cities making a combined holiday a very attractive possibility. The old town of Rovinj is car-less and reaching the apartment involves a short walk up a cobbled street and there are also two flights of stairs to get to the apartment. We provide a temporary pass allowing guests to enter the restricted access area of Rovinj and unload their luggage a short walk from the apartment. We also have a private parking space in a car park approx. 15 minutes walk from the apartment. This can be rented by guests for 10 Euros per day. The apartment has a TV with access to various Croatian and international channels. Please note that in accordance with Croatian law there is a tourist tax that is paid by each visitor to Croatia. The fee is 1.33 Euros per person per day depending on the season. Under 12s are free, and persons from 12 to 18 years old pay 50%.
