Bed and breakfast in the countryside at the foot of the Alps

Single guest room, in the center of the village, in the heart of the Vaud countryside, landlocked in the canton of Fribourg. Transformed into a loft style, this wooden building, formerly a grain attic, has retained its beautiful structure. A sweet blend of natural materials and modern comfort create a charming atmosphere. An atypical and warm accommodation with a soul. Maximum sunshine thanks to its position at 850 meters above sea level, views of the Alps and the Jura. The space Main Floor: Large open space with kitchen, dining room and living room. Breakfast/brunch basket on request – based on your wishes. Made up of local products, such as homemade bread, butter, eggs, cheeses, ham, yogurt, jams, homemade fresh fruit...! (CHF 14/person). Simple breakfast (homemade bread and jams, butter, coffee, tea) included in the booking price. Coffee machine and tea are available . Dining room with glass doors overlooking the small dining area of the upper terrace. The spacious bathroom offers you modern comfort bath with shower, toilet, sink. The two terraces are at your disposal for a quiet stay. In the evening, the lower terrace bathed by the setting sun encourages daydreaming. The 1st floor under the attic has also retained its framing in which windows with frosted film (privacy guaranteed) integrate to form the separation of the rooms. Taking the stairs you will arrive in a small TV/library lounge. A large bedroom, comfortable double bed overlooking the French, Vaud and Fribourg Alps as well as the Paccots. You will sleep comfortably wrapped in soft down duvets, even during the harshest winter nights. Internet access is provided throughout the building and outside. My place is suitable for solo travelers, couples, and business travel. Guest access Dining room, bathroom, small library living room, terraces. Equipped kitchen: From the oven to the ceramic hob, through the dishwasher, you have all the main kitchen accessories. Basic groceries are provided upon arrival: oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, coffee, tea, dishwashing liquid, toilet paper and cleaning products... (only for long stays from min 5 days, it is exceptionally accessible on request) During your stay Welcoming my guests in this small, quiet village with a rural feel, far from the stress of the cities. Share travel experiences, as well as good addresses and places to visit in the area. Other things to note In order to be able to welcome new guests in the best possible way, please vacate the room on the day of your departure by 10 a.m. You have the option to store skis, bikes (covered terrace and open downstairs) Regarding your pets, I am happy to welcome your dog under the following conditions: well trained, calm, and not lying on the bed or the armchairs. Your dog is your responsibility and must accompany you if possible when you go out; I don't provide dog-sitting services. Please bring his blankets for his bed as well as his bowls. Don't panic if you forget; I can help you out. The dog must be used to cats otherwise, you are kindly requested to keep him on a leash inside. Please note, the accommodation has 2 flights of stairs without risers, which scares some dogs. Your dog is allowed to relieve itself in the field across from the property, but please pick up the waste (the field does not belong to me). Do not accept other pets like NACs. Cats are no longer allowed. Only 1 dog is allowed in the room.
