Designer studio apartment in Bern - Breitenrain

Experience Bern staying in a bright, self contained designer studio apartment, situated in trendy Breitenrain district within an easy 10min walk of the city centre and most tourist attractions. Close to bars, cafes, restaurants, supermarkets & shops. WiFi and cable TV. Direct public transport links to the old town (4 mins) and train station (8 mins) just 120 meters from the front door. The space Our studio apartment is located on the fourth floor of a townhouse built in 1905 and is totally self contained with it’s own private entrance. Located in the trendy Breitenrain district, with it’s cool bar’s, cafe’s, restaurant’s and shop’s right on the doorstep. The studio is furnished with a mix of original mid century and modern designs, giving it a contemporary feel. The main living area contains a double queen sized bed, small dining table with chairs and widescreen TV with cable. High speed WiFi. Radio. Central heating. The compact kitchen is equipped with all the essentials you will need during your stay, with gas cooking hobs, fridge, toaster, kettle and a Nespresso coffee machine. All the utensils are supplied as well as a few basics food supplies to get you started. The bathroom consists of a shower, WC and wash basin. Towel’s, shower gel, shampoo and toilet paper are supplied. We are officially registered with the Bern Tourism Office, so guests will receive a Bern Ticket (on request) which enables free transport on all buses and trams within the city for the duration of the stay. Bern’s entire Old Town has been designated a Unesco World Heritage site and is within a comfortable ten minute walk from the studio. The train station can be reached in around fifteen minutes on foot. Alternatively, the tram stop is just 80 meters away. We are also well positioned within close walking distance to the Stade de Suisse, Post Finance Arena and BEA Expo Centre (just a 3-4 minute tram ride away). Bern is also an ideal city to be based in for access to the Alps, just over an hour away by train. Direct connection to Zürich and Basel by train takes 1 hour and Geneva in 1 hour and 50 minutes (direct). We are a Swiss / Welsh couple who love to travel as often and for as long as we can. We love meeting people and look forward to welcoming guests to our city. We live right next door and will happily show you how everything works and help in any way we can during your stay. We also respect that you may like your privacy, so we’ll leave the amount of interaction entirely down to you. Guest access The entire studio apartment is for the sole use of our guests and is completely self contained, sharing only the main entrance to the building and stairwell with other residents. Other things to note The studio accommodates a maximum of two persons only and is not suitable for small children or babies. The studio is not suitable for business purposes. Regrettably, we are unable to offer wheelchair access due to the location on the fourth floor as there is no lift in the building. Please do consider this before making a booking. We do not permit additional guests / visitors in the studio under any circumstances.
