Old Malmsey is a listed house in the heart of the Conservation area and is just a short stroll to the high street and the beach front with a good selection of independent shops, restaurants and pubs. The space Ground floor The ground floor has a homely and comfortable living room with an open fire and two sofas with HD television. This leads to a well equipped, modern kitchen/dining room with a dual fuel range. Table has seating for 6. This leads on to the sun room with seating for four and French doors onto the garden. First floor The stairs to the first floor lead from the living room but typical to this period of house, are fairly steep. On the first floor is a bedroom with a king size bed and wardrobe. There is room for a cot bed in here if needed. From the landing are steps down to the family bathroom, which has a sink, WC and walk in shower Second floor Here there is a bedroom with two 3 foot single beds and a single bedroom. Cellar From the kitchen, you can enter the cellar which contains television, DVD player, games for children and another comfortable sofa. There is a spare fridge and freezer here too and space to store luggage. This house is well equipped and comfortable and DVDs and board games are available for rainy days as is free WiFi. Guest access The entire property. Other things to note Strict No Smoking policy. Outside: Sun trap, walled garden with side entrance. Garden seating for eating and BBQ. Garden umbrella. Ironing board and iron available. House will be cleaned before arrival. Linen, duvets etc all provided. Additional cleaning can be provided at your own cost. As per many properties in the Conservation Area, the stairs are a little steep so could be an issue if you have mobility issues. Check in is normally 15.00 on the day of arrival and 10.00 on departure day. I will try to be as flexible and as helpful as possible
