This vintage Airstream-style trailer is a great place to reconnect with nature, listen to the owls hooting at night, and de-stress in an old-fashioned camping atmosphere. A unique vacation spot, this cute "canned ham" is tucked into a corner of the woods beyond my back yard overlooking a babbling creek. The old-fashioned 19-foot Yellowstone Travel Trailer is cute and comfy. Equipped with a dining table that converts to a double bed; twin-size platform bed; birch floors, walls, and cabinets; and gas cooking stove. No electricity or running water. Old fashioned (and clean) outhouse bathroom. This is truly camping. Note: the camper is amongst the trees approximately 100 feet from the back of my house. While it is not totally secluded, it is situated in a private nook of the forest with its own picnic table, charcoal grill, fire pit (and firewood), and lawn chairs. Camper sleeps up to 3 adults or 2 adults & 2 children. Photo and film shoots welcome. Location fees apply. Enjoy access to my private 2 acres on the Ten Mile River, a short, picturesque walk down the road. Here you can swim, fish, picnic, hike, and enjoy a campfire (free firewood available). The camper is stocked with dishes, utensils, pots/pans, coffee percolator, games, and wool camp blankets. Bring your own: towels, pillows, sleeping bags, flashlights/lanterns, toiletries, bug repellent, sunscreen, cooler, ice, charcoal & lighter fluid, food and drink. Tap water can be gathered from owner’s cottage on property. Great wildlife watching, including frogs in the pond, eagles & hawks overhead, and deer in the woods. At night you'll hear the sounds of owls, tree frogs, and katydids calling in the trees. A fun country getaway less than five minutes to the Delaware River. Local activities: swimming, rafting, fishing, hiking, antiquing, and bald eagle watching. Twenty minutes to Bethel Woods Performing Arts Center. Near New York Delaware River towns: Barryville, Narrowsburg, Callicoon, Jeffersonville. About 15 miles from Hawley, PA (great antiquing). My home where I live with my family including a dog and a cat is also on the property. I am available as needed, but will not be intrusive during your stay. You may see (or hear) my family - including my pets - when we are outdoors. We are located two miles from the artsy town of Narrowsburg, nestled along the Delaware River and chock-a-block with art galleries, antiques, ice cream & coffee shops, a fabulous bakery, supermarket & gourmet food market, Saturday farmer's market, gas station, and some of the best restaurants in the region. A short drive to a fantastic hiking spot. We kinda got it all! You will need a car to get around in this area. AT&T and Verizon cell phones get strong service. Wi-Fi is provided via an extender from my house. May not be the best signal ever. Available May through October only.
