Double room with own bathroom in a fully furnished home with spacious and light living and dining areas, beautiful mature compound, in a safe residential area within walking distance of local markets and 20 mins from Kampala city centre. The space Short, medium or long-term guests are welcome in a three-bedroom family home with a large compound with mature trees in the popular Kampala suburb of Kansanga. We're a 5-minute walk from the main Kansanga trading and market area, and the vibrant Kabalagala. There are lots of shops, restaurants and bars in the area. The room rate includes house and compound cleaning and security. Laundry will be charged separately. Guest access The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 verandas, a large living room and a dining and kitchen area. The compound is lovely with lots of butterflies and birdlife that you can enjoy with your morning coffee on either of the upstairs or downstairs veranda. Depending on the season, we have fresh vegetables and herbs for you from our kitchen garden. A live-in caretaker takes care of the compound and house maintenance. We have a night guard who keeps us safe at night – although we are in a very safe neighbourhood. We have two small friendly Maltese dogs During your stay I work from home mostly, and there is always someone in the compound for security. I live a fairly quiet life but enjoy having company - guest are always welcome to join us, otherwise you'll have your own space.
