The space Our apartment is located in the historic House at the Golden Snake (Dům U Zlatého hada) at Karlova 18, one of Prague’s most charming streets in the heart of the Old Town. This beautifully preserved building stands along the Royal Road, the traditional coronation path of Czech kings, connecting Old Town Square with Charles Bridge. The house dates back several centuries and features classic architectural details that reflect Prague’s rich history and artistic symbolism — including the golden snake emblem on its façade. Today, it offers a unique combination of historic charm and modern comfort. Staying here means being surrounded by history — every step outside leads you to iconic landmarks, cozy cafés, and the timeless atmosphere of Prague’s Old Town. Guest access Guests have full access to the entire apartment. Other things to note A baby cot and baby chair are available on request. Please let me know in advance so I can prepare them for you. Please note that this is a historic building without an elevator, and the apartment is located on the second floor. Guests will need to take stairs to reach the apartment. Parking: Parking is available at the nearby Old Town Parking (Alsovo nabrezi, Prague 1), just a short walk from the apartment. New Year Holidays (29 December – 1 January): A minimum stay of 3 nights is required. An extra person during this period is charged €50 per night.
